Draft party stunk
The NHL draft broadcast went as expected until the Isles made their selection at #5. They did not go back to the organist playing music while the same picture of Nino rotated back and forth on the scoreboard. The fans began to chant "Go back to the draft!" People went to watch THE DRAFT, not to hear organ music and listen to the arena hostess call winning raffle numbers. They went back for 2 minutes, cut away again, and each time we missed another selection. We stayed until the Rangers picked at 10, had a good laugh about that and left. I found out later they kicked people out half way through the 1st round. It was pathetic!! By the time Dolly Parton's Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol was picked at 30, the Coliseum was empty.
